Overview

At the Northern California Hair Restoration Centers in Lodi, Modesto and Stockton, CA, we provide men with receding hairlines, bald spots, or thinning hair options to create fuller, thicker hair. Drs. Theodore Staahl (a board-certified facial plastic surgeon) and Kimberly Cockerham (a board-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon) look forward to talking with you about your goals, reviewing your medical history, studying your hair loss pattern, and planning a treatment plan that results in the restoration of your hair pattern and volume.

With decades of hair restoration experience, our doctors will help you grow your hair again using a combination of techniques. We can diagnose the cause of your hair loss and provide strategies for the regrowth of your hair. You already made the first step by researching doctors who can help. Call for a confidential consultation and we will not only help you to achieve a fuller, handsome head of hair, but we will work together to build up your confidence and look your best.

Are you a Candidate for hair R

We provide hair restoration consultations for male candidates who have extensive hair loss to those who are just beginning to see hair fall out in specific spots. Drs. Staahl and Cockerham will sit down with you in one of our consultation rooms to discuss your medical history, family medical history, all of the medications you are taking, your grooming practices, how you experienced losing your hair, and your diet and exercise routines. Then, you can also expect a thorough physical examination of your scalp. Afterward, we will begin treatment planning for restoration.

Restoration Techniques

Our hair restoration team will discuss your options in treatment, explain how the procedure works, and answer any questions you may have about the technique used. We offer nonsurgical and surgical techniques, such as:

Nonsurgical — Hair and Scalp Therapy

  • Oral supplements
  • Prescription-strength topical and oral medications for hair loss
  • Microneedling follicle stimulation therapy
  • Platelet-rich plasma treatments
  • Laser and light therapies for home use
  • Micropigmentation on the scalp
  • Microblading for the eyebrows

Surgical — Minimally Invasive Hair Transplant Surgery

  • Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) - harvesting of hair follicles from (occipital) back of scalp
  • SmartGraft™ Technology (superior handling of follicular units over Neograft™ )
  • Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) - artistic precise transplantation

Other Considerations

Whether you are dealing with an illness, hormonal imbalance, or genetic male pattern baldness as the cause of your hair loss, this condition is very common for men under the age of 50. In contrast, women often notice thinning following illness, thyroid imbalance or menopause. If you suspect that you are starting to lose hair, have lost some of your hair, or have a family history of androgenetic alopecia, we recommend that you seek medical advice before it becomes more noticeable. Our experienced team will have suggestions on how to best care for your remaining follicles (and possibly delay or stop the thinning of your hair).
